2020 Reading Challenge

I am doing the Good Reads 2020 Reading Challenge.  This is my third year…2019 was my first successful year however.  I also set some particular guidelines for myself this time around.

A certain number have to be non-fiction. Textbooks don’t count towards that, but will count over all.

A Certain number have to be by People of Color. A further number have to be centered in non-English speaking countries, or feature main character(s) who fit that criteria.

A certain number have to be part of my Multi-Cultural Competency goal.  Basically, these are books that are generally non-fiction and will lead to enlightening me about how to interact more productively with non-White and/or non-English As a First Language folks.

These two things come from my Journal. One page is a fun sketch I made to keep track of my finished books.  The other is the beginning of a list of books I want to read at some point whether it’s this year or next or whatever.
